Ingredients
Milk, alcohol, sugar, almonds from Gargano, Mint
Without preservatives and coloring materials
Recipe
½ kilo green almonds, chopped very finely
1 tsp. almond extract
1 bottle vodka or marc
1 pinch each ginger and cinnamon
1 cup sugar syrup
Take a sterile jar of about 1 liter and put all of the ingredients in this. Shake very well and then let stand in a warm place (he puts the jar on a window) for two weeks. Be sure to unscrew the jar every two days for a few seconds. After two weeks have gone by open and strain the liqueur. Taste and add more sugar syrup if needed. Return to the jar, close again and let stand for two more weeks. Strain again and transfer to a sterile liqueur or wine bottle.
In home we drink the liqueur with espresso or sometimes spooned over vanilla ice cream.
